SG Long offers paid internship opportunities for college students and recent grads in the Missoula area. This isn’t your typical coffee run internship, our interns work on challenging and comprehensive projects while receiving guidance and advice from our experienced staff. We are looking for driven students who are interested in expanding their knowledge in a hands on workplace. SG Long currently offers internships for both Marketing and Research Assistants.

Job Title:                   Research Assistant

Time-frame:           Ongoing, part-time position (10-20 hours per week)

                               Full-time optional during summer

Description:              Missoula based money management firm is searching for a diligent and focused individual with a broad skill set as well as an entrepreneurial spirit. Position will serve as support for a wide variety of functions within a fast paced financial office environment. As a growing small business, job descriptions are broad and continually evolving.

Full-time opportunities may become available.

Qualifications:         

-    Finance/accounting/econ background preferred, not required

-       Strong desire to learn the nuances of the investment industry

-       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including VBA

-       Exceptional attention to detail

-       Ability to handle multiple, often disjointed tasks at once
