Financial Advisor and Investment Advisory Representative

John Thomas serves SG Long Financial as a Financial Advisor and Investment Advisory Representative and has worked in the financial services industry since 2020. He has served as an executive assistant to Don Gaumer and Tim Stansbury in his tenure at SG Long, and has been a fully licensed advisor since June, 2021.

Education:  B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations and Comparative Politics from the University of Montana (2018)

Licenses: Series 7 and 66

Personal Biography: John also known as “JT” was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana before transplanting to Missoula for college. While in college JT joined the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and participated in Model United Nations traveling to New York City for the National Model UN conference twice. He is a die-hard Griz fan- holding football season tickets and catches as many basketball games as he can. He is a lifelong martial artist with a black belt in Taekwondo and is currently pursuing a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  JT can be spotted in the wild enjoying live music or taking years off his life watching his beloved Packers.
